This week is all about my sister, and you will find out why on Friday!
My siblings are all much younger than me, which was actually pretty cool because I got to see them grow up before my eyes. It really doesn’t seem like that long ago that my sister was born, but I guess it’s been seventeen years.
My sister is the youngest of the three of us, and I was eleven when she was born. For the first three years of her life, she really, really enjoyed grabbing people by the ears and pulling them close so she could stare into their eyes. I can’t count the number of mornings I was woken up by a giant eyeball nearly pressed against my own and a little voice whispering, “Neenah, get up.” (Neenah is toddler-speak for Alina, btw.)

Babies – the original facehuggers!
And newborns usually look like aliens anyway.
Rosy the Cat Says:
I actually met my niece for the first time today; she was born at o-dark-thirty this morning, and I must say that she’s already the cutest baby in the world. Sure I’m probably biased, but that doesn’t make it any less true. Happy baby relative day!
